Many of my favorite episodes of The Simpsons are Lisa-focused episodes. So I decided to do what few Simpson’s writers ever bothered to do and highlight Lisa. She gets to play her saxophone while other characters and concepts show up depending on her mood. I was hoping I could get the module to play all three songs in succession, but no luck so you won’t be hearing the sad song here.
This module has two sliders. "Morph" determines how squiggly the portraits of the characters Lisa conjures become. I like them to be mostly clear with just a little squiggle. "Music" determines how many times Lisa's sax is actually heard. A lot of modules have this option so you're not just listening to the MIDI music the entire time the screen saver is running, but why would you pick this one if you didn't want to hear the music? Finally, the "Mood" dropdown lets you pick Lisa's mood. She can be happy, sad, or angry. Or just randomize it, which of course you want to do.
You know what’s funny? This is the second module I’ve highlighted (second liscensed one, no less) that plays a version of “When The Saints Go Marching In”. In the Star Trek encounters module, you can sometimes see Picard and Riker playing the song on the flute and trombone respectively.
